Find Out If You Qualify for Migration
Migration is a major decision — and before you take the first step, it’s essential to know whether you meet the necessary eligibility requirements. Each country has its own set of rules and selection criteria depending on the visa category, whether it's for skilled migration, study, business, or permanent residency.

At Orbis Migration, we simplify the eligibility process by assessing your profile based on your age, qualifications, work experience, and language proficiency, and then guiding you toward the most suitable migration pathway.

General Eligibility Criteria
Most countries assess applicants based on a common set of parameters. Your age plays an important role, as many skilled migration programs prefer applicants between 18 to 45 years old. A solid educational background, such as a diploma or degree from a recognized institution, is often essential.
Work experience in a skilled occupation — typically a minimum of 1 to 3 years — is another key factor that boosts your eligibility. Additionally, a strong command of English is crucial, and proof through recognized language tests such as IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL is usually required.
Applicants are also expected to pass health and character checks, which may include medical examinations and police clearance. Finally, many immigration programs require proof of sufficient funds, demonstrating that you can support yourself and any dependents after migration.

How the Eligibility Process Works
The process begins with a simple initial assessment, where you provide details about your education, work history, age, and language proficiency. Based on this information, our expert team conducts a detailed profile evaluation, comparing your qualifications with the visa requirements of your preferred destination.
After this, we offer personalized pathway recommendations, helping you understand which visa programs suit your profile — whether it’s skilled migration, study permits, or family sponsorship. Our team then supports you through the documentation phase, ensuring all required documents are prepared and verified correctly.
Once your profile is ready, we move to the application readiness stage, where we assist with lodging your visa application with full transparency and constant updates. This structured and guided process ensures your eligibility is accurately assessed and optimally presented.

Canada
To migrate to Canada through programs like Express Entry, you must score at least 67 points based on criteria such as age, education, language skills, and work experience. You’ll need to take an approved English test like IELTS and achieve a score equivalent to CLB 7 or higher. Your educational credentials must be assessed through an authorized agency like WES. A minimum of one year of work experience in a skilled occupation is required, along with proof of settlement funds unless you have a job offer or are being sponsored.

United Kingdom
The UK operates on a points-based immigration system. To qualify for a Skilled Worker Visa, you must have a valid job offer from a UK-licensed sponsor, meet the required salary threshold, and prove your English language proficiency through an IELTS or equivalent test. If your occupation is on the Shortage Occupation List, you may receive additional points. Students must hold an offer letter from an approved educational institution and show sufficient funds to cover tuition and living expenses.

Australia
Australia uses a points-tested visa system, where applicants must score at least 65 points based on age, English skills, qualifications, and work experience. You must have your occupation listed on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL or MLTSSL) and obtain a skills assessment from the relevant authority. IELTS or equivalent English proficiency test results are mandatory, and applicants typically need to be under 45 years of age at the time of invitation.

Europe
Eligibility requirements in Europe vary by country, but common standards include having a relevant qualification, professional work experience, and a job offer that meets the minimum salary threshold. For skilled professionals, countries like Germany and France offer the EU Blue Card, which requires a university degree and an employment contract. In some countries, a basic understanding of the local language may also be needed. Europe’s Schengen area further allows residents to travel across 26 member countries without additional visas.

New Zealand
New Zealand follows a points-based Expression of Interest (EOI) system, where applicants need to reach a score of 180 points to receive an invitation to apply. You must have recognized qualifications and relevant skilled work experience. A strong English proficiency, generally demonstrated through IELTS with a score of 6.5 or higher, is required. Having a valid job offer from a New Zealand employer significantly improves your chances. Health and character checks are also mandatory to complete the process.
